Website Grasshopper_UK Grasshopper Communications

Campaigns, media and content

Grasshopper Communications is a fast growing agency and we are looking for someone to join us to help develop and drive-forward our campaigns, media relations and creative content offer.

We want someone looking for challenge and opportunity, that can apply strategic thinking to help our clients achieve their objectives, by delivering creative, multi-channel campaigns that have real impact.  Ideally, you will be great at storytelling, be a top copywriter, be experienced in handling the media and well versed when pitching a news story.

You will need to be comfortable working at a fast pace and to deadlines, to advise and respond to clients, as well as to help support the growth and development of Grasshopper as a company and developing the team.

We are a niche agency specialising in sustainability, regeneration, infrastructure and energy – so ideally we would be looking for someone with some knowledge of these sectors – although this isn’t essential.

Having recently been shortlisted for Small Consultancy of the Year in the CIPR Pride Awards, this is an exciting time to join the Grasshopper team, as we look towards launching a refreshed brand and website this Autumn, alongside opening a new regional office in the south east.

We have continued to win a range of exciting new projects over recent months (across the public, private and third sectors), as well as securing a number of framework wins, so we are looking to further expand the skills within the team to continue to build on opportunities and develop existing accounts.

We are committed to promoting equality, inclusivity and diversity within our team and have a family friendly, agile work culture enabling flexible hours and remote working.

We anticipate this job being based at Grasshopper HQ in Cardiff or out of our (soon to open) Surrey office, although being predominantly based somewhere else within our core operational region of Wales and the south of England may be possible.

If you think you’d be a great fit for our team – then please get in touch with

Salary bracket: £35k+ depending on experience – plus performance based annual bonus. Other benefits include generous pension, a £150 per year personal well-being fund, team bonus share, training and CPD.

Deadline for applications is Wednesday 13th October 2021.
