If the comms profession had an advertising budget

Feb 13, 2022

This #CommsAds idea was a fun way to show off our new brand style – hope it makes you smile more than you groan! (More about this mini-campaign below).

If you would like amazing support and community to go with your creative social media training, head over to our courses page.

Sign in airport: Dear Colin in finance, using Plain English doesn't mean we're dumbing down Sign in a field: Say your audience is the general public' again, and I will not be responsible for my actions. Sign on the side of a motorway: If I could make your turgid 345 page PDF report go viral, Carol, I'd be on stage in Vegas with David Blaine, not working here. Bus stop advert: Why did I need a degree and years of experience for this job, if you're going to tell me how to do everything?

In case you’re wondering what this is all about, I’ll give you the lowdown.

As part of our drive to promote our new Social Media Expert Course coming up in April, we’re sharing fun (totally mocked-up) signs with the things we never say to our colleagues but sometimes wish we could.

The series is called “If the Comms industry had an ads budget” (or #CommsAds for short).

It’s about: getting into the feeds of new and existing friends who are #comms professionals; giving them a chuckle; and reminding them that we’re good at what we do.

Hopefully, it’ll make lots of you want to work with us.

Of course we’ll share more about the details of the course – like, the great results former students have got, how it helps you get more engagement and the way we boost confidence and creativity, as well as skills.

But part of the campaign is just to cheer people up a bit too, so they know they’re not alone!

Lots of people have messaged to say they like them, so we’re happy about that.

The course is open for booking now: take a look!
